Dreamtime is…

  •  A dream appreciation experience in a supportive group environment designed to spark creativity, foster curiosity about dream images and symbols ad strengthen the tether to yourself, your community, and the Unseen. Learn more about our theoretical orientation here.

  • A series of restorative retreats curated to settle participants into a more embodied state in order to attune to dream work, focused on embodied practices of dream exploration and appreciation.

  • An eclectic set of practices designed to cultivate, amplify and strengthen your connection to your dreams, fostering deeper intuition and trust in the symbols, narratives and messages dreams hold.

  • An expansive community of dreamers using empathy, reflection, curiosity and play to support one another as they tap into the personal and collective unconscious.

  • The evolving dream of Matthew Smith and Graham Murtaugh, two friends, therapists and wanderers who love exploring dreamwork together and want to help you open up to the power and wisdom of your dreams. Learn more about us and our Dreamtime story here.

Meet Your Facilitators

Matthew Smith LMHC and Graham Murtaugh LMHC are licensed mental health counselors in Washington State. They graduated from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2015 and 2018, respectively.

Matthew became interested in dream work as a teenager when vivid dreams began emerging with important (life defining!) imagery, and weaves dream work into his practice as a mental health counselor.

Graham has long been curious about the imagery and layers of meaning (mythic, spiritual, psychological, relational) dreams hold, often incorporating dream elements and symbols in his clinical work and art-making practice.

You can learn more about the history of Dreamtime here and our theoretical orientation to dreamwork here.
